Over the past year I’ve become slightly obsessed with podcasts. Though most of my subscriptions have absolutely nothing to do with social – I have a little bit of a true crime obsession right now – I do give some attention to a few that do focus on social media and digital marketing.
As with anything, there are some stinkers out there, but I have a few in my regular rotation that I recommend. Each is short-form – 30 minutes or less – and focused on making the most of your social media efforts. From paid advertising, to LinkedIn, to content marketing; these experts and their guests have a wealth of knowledge. And they share actionable, quick-to-implement tips.
One note: I usually listen to podcasts in the car during my commute, but these are often better digested while in front of my computer. Many of the tips (especially from Online Marketing Made Easy) are hard to visualize unless you are looking at the social platform they are referencing. I try to carve out one lunch break a week to catch up on them. Enjoy!

Small businesses can learn from the big guys how to become social pros.

Overview: Cutting-edge social media marketing strategies from brands and influencers in every industry. If you’re a social media team of one, business owner, or marketer, you’re sure to find something useful in every episode.
Focus: Quick tips and tricks to enhance your social efforts
Host: Afton Negrea
Average Length: 5 – 10 minutes
Overview: No longer producing new podcasts, but the content that is available is still timely and important. Love the super quick hit of information. This is a great place to start to tip toe into podcasts.
