In addition to John Anderson providing insights for advisors on practice management, you’ll also see posts on technology, investments, and social media on Practically Speaking. Meet the team from SEI who regularly contributes articles on these topics:

Brian Briggs:
Brian Briggs is the millennial contributor for Practically Speaking and a Senior Investment Analyst responsible for supporting the delivery of advice-driven asset management solutions for advisors and their clients. This investment/financial planning support includes custom investment case analysis and presentation support for advisors, as well as comprehensive financial planning support for advisors and relationship managers. Brian also serves on the board of SEI Diversity.

Want to know more about Brian? Outside of SEI, Brian enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, adding to his extensive (and rather impressive) sneaker collection and staying active in the gym. Brian is also studying for the CFP® exam.

Allie Carey:
Allie is the regular client experience contributor to Practically Speaking and the Director of Digital Client Experience for the SEI Advisor Network. Allie works closely with Advisor Network product managers to ensure the client is the center of each product design. She also leads new technology initiatives focused on bettering the experience for the advisor and their client.

Want to know more about Allie? She reads as much as she can (especially the Outlander series), loves sipping wine on any sun drenched patio, and is proud mom to her son and labradoodle.

Raef Lee:
Raef Lee is the technology contributor for Practically Speaking and he also serves as a Managing Director for the SEI Advisor Network. He is responsible for the identification of new services and markets for the SEI Advisor Network. He defines new product offerings for advisors either by partnering with best-of-breed companies or shepherding the requirements into SEI’s development teams. In addition, Raef identifies ways for the Advisor Network’s innovative business model to be leveraged in new markets.

Want to know a little more about Raef? He loves his wine and food (probably too much), is originally from England, and enjoys being a dad to his young daughter.

Dean Mioli:
Dean Mioli is a regular tax and personal-trust contributor for Practically Speaking and the Director of Investment Planning for the SEI Advisor Network. He is responsible for supporting the delivery of advice-driven asset management solutions for SEI’s advisors and their clients in the form of custom investment case analysis and proposal support, as well as technical investment support for SEI’s advisors and relationship directors and managers. An active presenter and speaker, Dean has also authored articles for The Tax Advisor and the Philadelphia Estate Planning Journal.

Want to know a little more about Dean? Dean is a competitive pistol shooter, loves live music and is World War II history buff. He and his wife are parents to their two dogs, Gunnar and Axel – two pups who know everything, but never tell.

Heather Wilson:
Heather Wilson is the social media contributor for Practically Speaking and Social Media Manager in the SEI Advisor Network. She oversees all aspects of social media, from writing, project management, social channel management, compliance management, and publishing. In addition to social media, she’s directly involved in the development and execution of our large-scale national and regional client conferences.

Want to know more about Heather? She’s an expert-level PowerPoint guru, a certified massage therapist, an avid music lover with a degree from Ithaca College in vocal performance and audio production, and a self-described Jill-of-all-trades. She’s also a wife and mother of two very active kids, and can usually be found on the sports sidelines, enthusiastically embarrassing her children.
